- by Celeryface

Hey Dreamcast fans, Celeryface here to answer your questions and concerns about our site, the Dreamcast community, and whatever else you need to know about our favorite little white box, in the latest edition of the PlanetDreamcast Mailbag.

This week we answer some of your questions on NHL 2K2, Europe imports, PSO CD-key problems, and more! Check it out, your letter might be in there!

Subject: About Sega Dreamcast

People have been saying nhl2k2 is the last dreamcast game that will ever be released. What about toe jame and earl for dreamcast? I also wanted to know if there is any chance nfl2k3 and the rest will ever come out for dreamcast.

At this point in time NHL 2K2 is the only game scheduled to be released on the Dreamcast this year, and Sega will officially stop supporting the system next month. So it should be safe to say that we won't be seeing NFL 2K3, and future releases of the 2K series on the Dreamcast. According to the official website for Toe Jam & Earl, "ToeJam & Earl will not be a DC title any time soon,...". The game will make its way to a next-gen console, but it hasn't been announced which one as of yet.

Subject: Tony Hawk 3

First I asked about Smash Pack Vol. 2, now I'm wondering if there even was a mention of a chance that Tony Hawk 3 would come to Dreamcast? Also, how much (as in percentage) of a chance is there for Tony Hawk 3 on Dreamcast?

No, if you wan't to play Tony Hawk 3 you will have to play it on any of the other next-gen consoles or a Gameboy Advance. I would say that it's a 0% chance that Tony Hawk 3 is coming out for the Dreamcast.

Propeller Arena - Is it still coming out or is it cancelled

Propeller Arena was cancelled.

Subject: PSO CD-KEY Problems

I have the serial number and key but cant play online because it is all ready be used by some one before i bought it.....How do you fix this?

I believe you can call Sega at 1-800-USA-SEGA to get them to reset your CD-KEY in order for you to re-register it with your Dreamcast. Good luck!

Subject: Evil twin and Rez

Hi, I want to know if Rez and Evil twin (pal) are going to have a 50/60 Hz mode, like Shenmue 2 and Headhunter have. So with only a gameshark cdx and a usa dreamcast can I play those games?? Thanks a lot!!

Rez supports the 50/60 Hz mode just like Shenmue 2 and should work just fine with your GameShark CDX, but I haven't heard anything on Evil Twin supporting this mode. If you are reading and happen to know, send us an email.

That concludes another great edition of the PlanetDreamcast Mailbag. Stay tuned as we will be back with more answers to your letters. Be sure to keep sending them. As always, you can send your letters to this address. Maybe you will see your letter in the next edition of the PlanetDreamcast Mailbag. Have fun! :)
